That’s Amore
Love is in the air, thanks in part to the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey’s winter performance, appropriately titled “Love Story.” Music director and conductor Matthew Oberstein and company present their own love story, with music by Tchaikovsky, Fauré and Leonard Bernstein for a classic-meets-modern journey of romance in music.

Welcome to the ’60s
Grab your Ultra Clutch and go back in time as the Road Company at The Grand Theatre presents “Hairspray.” This high-energy musical follows Baltimore teen Tracy Turnblad as she navigates her way through high school and the tense Civil Rights Movement with the help of her favorite after-school variety show.
Feb. 14-March 2 at The Grand Theatre, 405 S. Main St., Williamstown, (856) 728-2120, RoadCompany.com, $25, with discounted rates for seniors, students and matinees

Flyer’d Up
The women behind our favorite pro hockey players return yet again for the annual Flyers Wives Carnival (pictured), one of the area’s largest single-day charity drives. Games, food and giveaways are offered with every admission, while specialty packages give fans the chance to meet their favorite players, with autographs from favorites such as Claude Giroux and Scott Hartnell. Profits go to benefit Comcast-Spectacor charities, which has raised more than $25 million for non-profits across the country.
March 3, 1:30-6 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center, 3601 S. Broad St., Philadelphia, 1 (800) 298-4200, FlyersCarnival.com, $15-75
