Enjoy some finger-lickin’ food and music at the New Jersey State Barbecue Champ­ionship, which is held in conjunction with the Anglesea Blues Festival. Arts by the Ocean
Experience beauty first-hand as you watch the graceful members of the popular Todes Contemporary Russian Ballet perform live. Famous choreographer Alla Duhova combines the traditions of classical ballet and the trends in contemporary dance culture to create a masterpiece performed by the amazing dancers. Ahoy!
Starting this July, Atlantic City will be offering a special tour of Absecon Island. First, take a trip on a one-hour shoreline cruise, featuring lots of interesting facts about barrier islands, indigenous species and maritime history. Enjoy the scenic view at Back Bay Ale House along with a fresh seafood sampler for lunch. Afterward, explore various places on your own, such as the Crafter Shoppes or the Atlantic City Aquarium. On the way back from the approximately four-hour-long tour, hear stories about rumrunners, bootleggers, and more. Sand Style
Whether you want to create a memorable sand sculpture or just walk along the beach and admire the artwork, Avalon’s Sand Sculpture Contest is an event you won’t want to miss. Hit the beach, where dozens of professional and amateur sand artists will be competing for top prizes. The sculptors get up early, so make sure you don’t snooze and miss it! Boat Show
Get your home or boat decorated, and get ready for a memorable Ocean City tradition: Nights in Venice. This year’s optional decoration theme is “Do You Remember When?,” creating a feeling of nostalgia for Ocean City residents and visitors alike. The bald men in blue take the stage at Caesar’s Hotel & Casino for a night of over-the-top theatrics. This long-running group of silent thrillers have been enchanting guests with their wacky and comedic musical performances, and now they’re bringing their How to Be a Megastar 2.1 tour to the Jersey Shore. Stevie Nicks

Cedric the Entertainer

Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez
Spice up your summer with these Latin pop sensations, all together in A.C. for one hot night.
