DelVal Media Launches the

Region’s 1^st Family-Focused Publication

In March 2010, a new magazine is set to hit newsstands that will fill a long-standing void among local periodicals. DelVal Media, LLC, the publisher of South Jersey Magazine, SouthJersey.com and 15 other leading publications in the Delaware Valley, has revamped its publication Suburban Home & Garden Resource Guide and is launching a brand new magazine in its stead: Suburban Family.

Suburban Family, produced 12 times per year, will expand the editorial scope of Suburban Home & Garden to focus on the family-related topics that are most important to local residents. Featured editorial content will delve into serious family issues and milestones that South Jersey families face—from practical concerns like teaching your kids how to manage money or helping them get into college to relationship issues, like dad’s changing role in the modern family or how to introduce a new sibling into your child’s life. Other stories will highlight outstanding local students, athletes and citizens, informing readers about the superstars that reside in their own backyards. No doubt, this publication—the first of its kind in Southern New Jersey—will touch on a large number of topics that are near and dear to area readers’ hearts.

With a distribution of 40,000 per month, Suburban Family will mail directly to some of the most affluent households in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties. Targeted readers will be families with children under the age of 18 who still live at home. The magazine will also have newsstand distribution in area bookstores, including Barnes & Noble and Borders.
